Most meet in front of the tourist office at 7 avenue de Champagne. Épernay station is under ten minutes' walk away, and the direct train from Paris Gare de l'Est takes about 1 hour 20.
Épernay sells the short and the unusual. There is an open-top bus with three tastings, a jeep through the Grand Cru villages, an e-bike day, private half days with a guide-driver, and a day on foot between three houses. Hautvillers, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ are all a few kilometres away, so little of the day goes on the road.
